This summer I will be travelling sixty miles on foot to raise awareness of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and the campaign to end the practice.
The Roses Run journey starts on the final day of the Yorkshire vs Lancashire County Championship match at Headingley, Leeds on Wednesday 1 June. It will end on the eve of Friday 3 June at Old Trafford, Manchester for Lancashire vs Yorkshire T20 match.
Please feel free to join me along the route (you do not have to do the full sixty miles!) If you want to join along the way, please email me using the address on the Contact page.
If you cannot join, but want to donate to sponsor a full time Kenyan cricket coach using sport as way of delivering gender equality and anti-FGM messeges to the Maasai community in Kenya please click this link to The Roses Run justgiving page.
Run, jog, trot, amble or ramble
we can all join together to end FGM.
